Leanin' back in my seat (Leanin' back in my seat)
Got me thinking 'bout my life now (Life now)
I wish that I could see you right now (Right now)
Bury me with all the lights out
[Chorus]
Woke up surprised
Am I really alive?
I was tryin' to die last night
Survived suicide last night
Woke up surprised
Am I really alive?
I was tryin' to die last night
Survived suicide last night
[Verse]
Catch a feelin' for me (Catch a feelin' for me)
Catch a feelin' for my lifestyle (Feelin' for my lifestyle)

Everything you say about me, all I ever think about
Everytime I hear your name, it makes you wanna fuckin' shout
Everything you say about me, all I ever think about
Everytime I hear your name, it makes you wanna fuckin' shout

Find answers to frequently asked questions about the song and explore its deeper meaning
In an interview for Alternative Press magazine, Smokeasac breaks down the meaning behind the lyrics:
Questioned about the suicidal tone of the verse:
That wasn’t necessarily true, but it was his way of saying he had his own demons, but, in a way, it seemed like he had things under control. So hye had this vibe; he was super-strong. It was positive. You listen to his music and he’s talking about catch a vibe with me, leaning back in my seat. It was his way of saying he was used to the pain and the depression. That was just his life.
It’s talking about self-destructive behavior, but also understanding that he had a vibe to him that was positive. He was describing his life. It was the chronicle of good and band, this almost twisted life where he was really happy, but has this dark side.
