shiver Lyrics

[Chorus]
Lookin' for a reason to live, I can't find shit (Ayy)
So, I'm squeezin' the trigger, I let my mind split
Up into bits and pieces for dinner
You eatin' brains, bitch (Ayy)
I know she cum when she shiver

[Verse]
Don't give a fuck about you
Say they hate me
I don't give a fuck about who, ayy
I pull up in a coupe
Lookin' like soup
Real hot, jaw drop like the roof
I remember livin' life like you
Smokin' on boof
Lil' broke boy with a gold tooth
I could never live my life like you
Young, brand new
Lil Peep came through with the juice

[Chorus]
Lookin' for a reason to live, I can't find shit (Ayy)
So, I'm squeezin' the trigger, I let my mind split
Up into bits and pieces for dinner
You eatin' brains, bitch (Ayy)
I know she cum when she shiver
[Verse]
Don't give a fuck about you
Say they hate me
I don't give a fuck about who, ayy
I pull up in a coupe
Lookin' like soup
Real hot, jaw drop like the roof
I remember livin' life like you
Smokin' on boof
Lil' broke boy with a gold tooth
I could never live my life like you
Young, brand new
Lil Peep came through with the juice

About

Genius Annotation

On “shiver”, Lil Peep shows in a fast-paced verse his feelings towards a girl, with very few reverb on his voice, an unusual practice for the rapper. The chorus, more characteristical of the rapper, goes very slow to emphasize on depressed lyrics.

“shiver” is, like the other tracks of the EP, produced by John Mello. However, this one is noticeably also co-produced by Hector Vaé with whom Peep had already worked on several tracks. Moreover, it is the only song from Vertigo to not have a featured music video, probably explaining why it is less popular then the three other tracks.

First released on Peep’s SoundCloud, this music was rediscovered by his fans on the EP’s 4th anniversary, bringing it back on all streaming platforms.
