“TINFOIL / POWERLESS (Instrumental)” is the eleventh track off of LIVING THINGS (Acapellas and Instrumentals). It is featured as the final two tracks off of LIVING THINGS.

“TINFOIL” was originally going to be apart of “POWERLESS.” However, it evidently ended up as its own track on the album. Mike Shinoda said that the two tracks had took the longest to write, further elaborating that Linkin Park were still working on them for the last day of recording. The writing process finally came to a close when Rob Bourdon came to the studio and recorded a new idea.
