“Broken People” is the fourth song released off of the soundtrack for the 2017 Netflix film Bright.
The track features two artists who have vocally supported humanity. Rag'N'Bone Man takes the chorus, and just like in his hit song “Human”, he discusses a brokenness felt between people in the film.
The two main verses come from Logic, whose 2017 album Everybody dove into all sorts of issues felt throughout humanity. His motto is “PLP” or “Peace, Love, and Positivity”, and these verses let listeners know that his message of equality for all will infiltrate their minds.
The song was released along with a lyric video that featured multiple scenes of homelessness. These images signify “Broken People” who are down and out, but as long as they are on earth, they are equal and should have hope just like anyone else.
