Having no distinct structure of style, the meaning of the lyrics can be difficult to pin down. But perhaps that’s the point? Hannah Reid says of the song’s abstract nature:
I mean, it is one of my favourites that we’ve ever written, I think, but it’s not a kind of song song, if you know what I mean? It’s more of a vibe than a song.

In an interview with French website Charts in France, Dot Major declared:
This song was obvious. It came later than the others in the writing process, but it was the first that we finalized. As soon as the rehearsals were over, I looked at the instrumentation, very minimal and uncluttered, and voila. The final version is not much different from the first, and that’s why it is important to us: it was us, who found the sound of our music. Of all the tracks, this is the one that best reflects the album.
