Talking Lyrics

[Verse 1]
All, all of these changes keep on following me
Visions that wake me relentless, leaders mean nothing to me
All, all of these people, none of them true at the seams
But I see you in dark corners, eyes that look way through me, and

[Chorus]
Are we talking now, baby?
There is a life here for free
Are we talking now, baby?
Talking to you, talk to me

[Verse 2]
All, all of these roads are leading to nowhere you see
Whеn this world ends as we know it, what's left will bе you and me
So all, all of these changes are the visions of futures I see
And I see truth in dark corners, eyes look way through me, and

[Chorus]
Are we talking now, baby?
There is a life here for free
Are we talking now, baby?
Talking to you, talk to me

[Bridge]
Talk to you, talk to me
Talk to you, talk to me
Talk to you, talk to me
Talk to you, talk to me
Talk to you, talk to me
Talk to you, talk to me
Talk to you, talk to me
Talk to you
[Chorus]
Mmh, are we talking now, baby?
There is a life here for free
Are we talking now, baby?
Talking to you, talk to me
Are we talking now, baby?
There is a life here for free
Are we talking now, baby?
Talking to you, talk to me

Dot [Major] wrote the piano part, not even in five minutes but almost instantaneously, quite a long time ago. It was floating around on the second album process, and I loved it so much. But nobody else was really that keen. External influences made us lose confidence in it, and when I went back and listened to the demo, I was like, ‘This is amazing. What is wrong with us? We’re going to make it work this time.’ It reminds me of the first album. Our music’s moved on, but I’m so glad we have these moments that remind me of that time too.
