Genius Annotation

“Truth Is a Beautiful Thing” is the third and title single from London Grammar’s second album, entitled “Truth Is a Beautiful Thing”.

The song discusses the yearning and hurting of being far away from someone you really care about. The only thing is that she sings about the fact that she hasn’t told him the truth. She sings about wanting to tell her secret lover that she loves him but is too afraid and wants to keep it a secret from everyone else because of how they might react to it. If she does tell him the truth about how she might feel, their relationship with each other would flourish and “be a beautiful thing”.
