This is a song that I wrote about 2 years ago
Maybe a little bit longer
So I've sat on this song for a while

And the song originated as a massage between me and the fans
And you know, when we started with the title
And that's where we start revving the writing process with this title
And you know, I was asked what did it mean to me
And to me 'We Made It' was that first moment at the tour show
Which I've been lookin' forward to for a long time
And now my fans were being very patient
Ah, so it's kind of thinkin' about that and visualizing that
And that feeling that we might have as a collective

This was one of those writing sessions that was definitely
Comfortable and natural
Obviously had to do a lot of work with Julian and John in the One Direction days
So we're kind of trying to write as a bit of extension of that
Something with the fans in mind
With the massage and the sound
