Sugar Soaker (Demo) Lyrics

[Verse 1]
...And the dashboard queens

[Pre-Chorus]
You're a car, you're a woman, you're a drug
You're all of the above, baby

[Chorus]
Little sugar soaker, breaking my bed
Red taillights in the back of her head
Such a cherry leather looker, drive her till I'm dead
Little sugar soaker, come on, come on, come on, come on, yeah
Little sugar soaker, come on, come on, come on, come on, yeah
Uh, Uh, hey!

[Verse 2]
Ate my ELO-oh-oh, lemon radio, come on
Dime piecе in the seats, golden goddеss outta Greece, come on
I'll feed you Frank Sinatra, stars and stripes forever
I'll drag you to the opera so you think I'm clever

[Pre-Chorus]
You're a car, you're a woman, you're a drug
You're all of the above, baby

[Chorus]
Little sugar soaker, breaking my bed
Red taillights in the back of her head
Such a cherry leather looker, drive her till I'm dead
Lil' sugar soaker, come on, come on, come on, come on, yeah
Lil' sugar soaker, come on, come on, come on, come on, yeah
[Chorus]
Little sugar soaker, breaking my bed
Red taillights in the back of her head
Such a cherry leather looker, drive her till I'm dead
Little sugar soaker, come on, come on, come on, come on, yeah
Little sugar soaker, come on, come on, come on, come on, yeah
Little sugar soaker, come on, come on, come on, come on, yeah
Little sugar soaker
Come on, come on, come on, come on
Come on, come on, come on, come on
Come on, come on, come on, come on
Come on, come on, come on, come on
Come on, come on, come on, come on
Come on

[Outro]
Oh yeah
Hey!

That was perfect
I think we did it

Genius Annotation

This is a rough, early version of the song Sugar Soaker off of Panic! At The Disco’s 7th and final album, ‘Viva Las Vengeance.’
The lyrics and general sound of the song are the same as the final track, only with no mixing and a rougher vocal take.
Interestingly, Butch Walker can be heard singing back up on the song, which he did not do for the released version.

The demo was leaked online alongside other VLV outtakes and Panic! demos.
