RemindMeOfThatOneTime Lyrics

PRODUCED BY: PEACEMAKERS

(Intro: Mac Miller)

Sounds like, like water
Just like, like the ocean like floating
That's how my guitar sounds like and feels like

(Verse 1: Peacemakers)

I got big hopes
Moving out

Bro's stay close
The growth you can’t imagine

I ain’t moving out the city in a long time
(You know I just want to chill)

Remind me of that one time
Why you acting selfish?

You with someone else asking if I’m someone else’s
There’s more of you I see inside the outside so expensive

Take off your clothes let’s switch positions?
The pain that brings depression
I don’t want you texting like I'm missing

You gon tell me that you want something different
Oh you gon tell me that you want something different?

The worlds so wide but i'm still waiting on you (on you)
The length you can see through my pain

Oh it's on me it's all me
Constant melodies ease my pain

(Chorus: Peacemakers)

I don’t know how it feels
A friend or a foe
It started crazy
Yeah I know
I can’t lie (It started crazy)
You remind me
(You remind me of that one time)

I don’t know how it feels
A friend or a foe
We started crazy
Yeah I know
I can’t lie (It started crazy)
You remind me
(You remind me of that one time)
(Verse 2: Sonny Vision)

You and I
Spend some time

We’re connected like we knew each other
Talking camera lines

When I miss you I could look into the stars
So chilled, so chilled repertoire

How’d you get here on your own It’s so far
I want the family good brought the car

The city life after twelve
The party start

Hope we don’t bump into twelve we dodging cops
You came with your friend as well she doesn’t spark
Out and about all these phases I’m in

You the type of girl who only stay outdoor
The fact that you had more but couldn’t roll one more
Pre conceived misconceptions
Sometimes I just skip the session
(Chorus: Peacemakers)

I don’t know how it feels
A friend or a foe
We started crazy
Yeah I know
I can’t lie (It started crazy)
You remind me
(You remind me of that one time)

I don’t know how it feels
A friend or a foe
We started crazy
Yeah I know
I can’t lie (It started crazy)
You remind me
(You remind me of that one time)

(Outro: Mac Miller)

I don't like plan much
I really just like to hit record and go
And see what happens and then like figure it out later

About

Genius Annotation

“RemindMeOfThatOneTime” sees Peacemakers reminisce on the moments that where good & bad.The process of being a beginner and working your way up the ranks, everything from life experiences, risk taking and cherishing those little moments that later become major in the long run.Peacemakers definitely tap into Alternative Hip Hop vibes on this one, experimenting with live instrumentation and effects. No samples on this one though everything was created from scratch.Mac Millers “Feedback- Episode 4 | Fender” really just compliments the whole experience and process the Peacemakers had while creating this song.

Genius Answer

We spent a couple hours in the “Blue Room” just jamming out before I found the chords and recorded it into Ableton Live 10.Later Vision added a second guitar fill and we overdubbed them in effects reverb etc.No samples this is us experimenting and not being afraid too be new and different.Mac Millers “Feedback- Episode 4 | Fender” really just compliments the whole experience we had while creating this song.
