I think “I’m Gonna Be” is a cool-ass record. I think it’s a super uplifting record. Like I said, I wanted to put in positivity and also the sad stuff. But, I like this record ‘cause I think it’s an encouragement to everyone who might be struggling with self-confidence, or whatever, to just do whatever the hell you want 'cause you’re a rockstar. And just be yourself, and don’t listen to anybody. And that’s a message that I talk about a lot but it’s something that I really believe in. 'Cause nowadays it’s tough, there’s a lot of people that want to bring you down, and tell you that your pants are too tight. That’s just an example, but it’s like, “Fuck you, I’m gonna do whatever I want.” It’s just a good message for the kids.
