On June 8, 2019 Zion Kuwonu tweeted that a collaboration with rapper Lil Tjay was set to be released, less than a month before the quintet dropped their sophomore EP Phases.
A few days later, during a twitch stream he revealed the track’s name, which many fans misheard as “Line”, an unreleased PRETTYMUCH track from 2018. Fans soon realized they were mistaken, with PRETTYMUCH posting a picture of some lyrics whilst they were shooting the music video.
The track was performed as part of the band’s FOMO Tour set, debuted in Dallas, Texas on July 12.
