About

Genius Annotation

“Cigarette” is an interlude track on Princess Chelsea’s fourth album, The Loneliest Girl. The song pays homage to Princess Chelsea’s most popular song, “The Cigarette Duet”, from her debut album.

This “reprise” of the song is much more melancholy, being slower and in a different key from the original. The song’s only “lyrics” are Chelsea singing non-lyrical vocals to the tune of the original melody.
