Soul Survivor Lyrics

[Pre-Chorus]
Damn frustrating that you think I could never make it
Look who's standing right in front of you
Yes, it's me
What you doing?
Did you think you would see me ruined?
After all the shit that I've been through

[Chorus]
Whoa, I'm a soul survivor, I made it through the fire
I started with nothing, I've got nothing to lose
I'm a soul survivor, I made it through the fire
I started with nothing, I've got nothing to lose

Oh yeah, oh yeah
Oh-oh, oh-oh
Oh, oh (Ooh)
Oh, oh (Ooh)

[Pre-Chorus]
Damn frustrating that you think I could never make it
Look who's standing right in front of you

[Chorus]
'Cause, yes, I'm a soul survivor, I made it through the fire (Ooh)
I started with nothing, I've got nothing to lose (Ooh)
'Cause I'm a soul survivor, I made it through the fire (Ooh)
I started with nothing, I've got nothing to lose (Ooh)

Oh-oh, oh-oh
Oh yeah, oh-oh
Oh-oh, oh-oh
Oh yeah, oh-oh
Oh-oh, oh-oh

What did Rita Ora say about "Soul Survivor"?
Genius Answer

It is really about feeling like it’s all over, and like you have no hope left and, god knows how, feeling like, You know what, I can do this. It was actually written as s-o-l-e, like one individual person, but I thought it easier to relate to if it was s-o-u-l, but the meanings are really the same. I did it all in one take, it’s one of my most wonderful moments.
