“Howling At Wolves” is the first new track from Angel Face (Club Deluxe), the deluxe version of Stephen Sanchez’s 2023 debut album, Angel Face.

The song was debuted during the first show of Stephen Sanchez’s 2023 Live In Person Tour in Indianapolis on October 13, 2023. The song remained on the setlist for the entirety of this tour.

On April 5, 2024, Stephen Sanchez shared a 48-second clip of the studio recording of “Howling At Wolves” on Instagram. This was the third deluxe track he had teased that week, following “The Other Side” and “Emotional Vacation”. An extended snippet containing the full first verse and chorus was posted to Instagram and TikTok on April 16, 2024.

Stephen Sanchez announced that “Howling At Wolves” would feature on Angel Face (Club Deluxe) via an Instagram post on April 11, 2024.

This song is a continuation of the Angel Face storyline which had previously ended with The Troubadour Sanchez being shot dead by Hunter, and Evangeline fleeing, “never to be seen again”.
