As the title song for their highly-anticipated first full album, “神메뉴 (God’s Menu)” invites all customers to come and have a taste of what Stray Kids is all about. The kitchen-themed lyrics blended with an enthusiastic production is able to leave a memorable impression on the casual listener and keeps them interested in Stray Kids' wide range of music.

The song represents the group’s desire to stand out in the K-Pop world, proving that they are worth listening to, with any genre to satisfy their customers' tastes. The group’s dance leader Lee Know states in the album pre-release interview:

Even if you are not a [fan], [the song] will be memorable to you

The song lived up to Stray Kids' intentions, leaving an impression on J.Y. Park, the main producer of their agency JYP Entertainment. A different song had originally been chosen for the album release while “神메뉴” was still in production. However, the track received enough enthusiasm from the members for the group to take it to Park and request the track be put on the album. To their surprise, Park was impressed by the track. Main rapper Changbin notes the experience in the album pre-release interview:

[J.Y. Park] said when he listens to it, he can imagine Stray Kids doing awesome performance on the stage. After he listened to the song, he said, ‘don’t worry, we may replace the title track, so continue working on it.‘ I heard something like that has never happened in JYP before. We basically revolted with our song.
