The producer, Mike Sabath, was 19 when he produced [“Hold Tight”] and it just blows me away because I was 18 when we wrote it so it felt like it was made by teenagers… Then I texted Amir and I was like “can you write something?” He was in his college dorm, and he like sent me a rough demo. And I was like “all right now, move this around, try this.” He sent it back, and then I went into my label that day and I played it for them.
