The original snippet had a different instrumental, being the official instrumental of Shawn Mendes’s 2016 hit, “Treat You Better”. “Treat You Better” was used as a sample and the instrumental from the snippet was officially changed to a melodic drill beat, produced by “HeartF3lt”.
In a now deleted Twitch stream, phynx had talked about this snippet on 2/12/23 while playing in a game mode of “Splitgate”, confirming the change of the instrumental. He also claimed that the song would not get released until he got the right people on it. On 07/09/23, a now deleted tweet had been posted with the caption, “TUB.! x”, possibly hinting as a release or the song being scrapped.
