In my perspective this song Is about an abusive relationship. In the lyrics it says “coming for blood this time” and if that doesn’t say enough well then I don’t know what will. Also in the lyrics is says got homework and that could mean something else but it could be a possibility that he/she is young and experiencing this trauma of abuse. But in reality of the song the person that is doing this mess could be scared and there taking their anger out of them as it says “I know I’m not as tall, but God I scare you” this means they are intimidated by Dana or who this song is about.

Easy On You is such a wonderful song that possibly describes a complicated relationship or might even be a abusive one when her or someone else was younger. In my book I think it will be connected with her song “Daddys Car” on her new album I Am The Dog.
