Released in the midst of the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, “Quarantine Clean” is Atlanta trio Turbo, Young Thug and Gunna’s ode to self-quarantine. The single comes days after numerous countries took measures to curb the progress of the pandemic, including mandating social distancing measures and issuing stay-at-home orders.
Heavily teased by both Gunna and Turbo before its release, the song was first shown off by Gunna on March 25, 2020.
Thugger has shown concerns about the pandemic situation before this song. The Atlanta rapper showed support to hospital staff and shared a biblical message regarding his thoughts on the coronavirus.
