“Kura Kura” is an upbeat pop tune where TWICE express their feelings of meeting someone special as they get “dizzy” (Japanese: “クラ,” romanization: “kura”), “lost control of [their] heart and soul,” and “got absorbed into an eternity.” Besides the individual scenes from the group members, the spring-themed music video of the song also features multiple shots of flowers including rosa chinensis, pale poppy, and common peony.

“Kura Kura” is the South Korean girl group’s eighth Japanese single and their first release since December 2020’s “Cry For Me.” “Kura Kura” was first teased during TWICE’s March 2021 Japanese online concert, TWICE In Wonderland.
