Inward Singing Lyrics

*Kage snoring*

JB: Oh my God… oh my God I've done it. Kage, come here I want you!
KG: What?! What?! God! I was sleepin', dude! What are you talkin' about?
JB: Oh, my god…
KG: What?
JB: I did it
KG: What'd you do?
JB: I've done it, I fucking did it
KG: What?
JB: The most powerful tool in singing technology since yodeling, dude. Oh my God, inward singing!
KG: What?
JB: Check it out, it's an invention and it makes nonstop rocking possible. Think about it, man! Rock singers are only rocking you half the time, the other time they're, they're, they're, they're breathing in, but not anymore, baby! Hahahahaha! Not with inward singing. Check it out!
*Singing* And then, I start some lyrics and you
*Inward Singing* Can't believe I'm singin'
*Singing* And I'm never fuckin' stoppin' and I'm
*Inward Singing* Always fuckin' singin' and you...
*Singing* Now you know that I will never
*Inward Singing* Stop the fuckin' singin'
*Singing* I'm like a fuckin' one-man band, I'm like a fuckin' one-man
*Inward Singing* Band!

JB: And I can sing like that all fuckin' night
KG: Wow. It wasn't really nonstop, though. There was a slight-

JB: Aah, shut up! It is nonstop! And the other thing is, that when I'm fuckin' singin' in, it sounds even BETTER than when I'm singin' out! Shut up! Fuck you! You fuckin' dick! Always naysaying everything I create! You piece of shit, you create something like inward singing! You fuckin' shit you, fuckin' sit in your tower...
*Kage laughing*

JB: ... and fuckin' nap... what's funny? You fuckin' bitch!

*Kage continues to laugh*

JB: Fuckin', fuck yeah, fuckin'… cock-ay-ass!
You're fired from the band
KG: Um, that won't be necessary, Jack
JB: Why?
KG: Well, I'm quitting
JB: What?
KG: I quit

About

Genius Annotation

“Inward Singing” is a comedy sketch where Jack announces to Kyle that he wants to shows off a thing called inward singing. He demonstrates how you can use it to sing while inhaling, which can make you “rock all the time.” Kyle disagrees, which causes Jack to have a curse-filled breakdown on why he always nay-says everything. It then ends with Jack firing him from the band.

Besides Tenacious D fans, this sketch didn’t hit a larger audience until sometime in 2006 when videos started to pop up where some unrelated audio or video will be played (usually used the most with TV shows and Documentaries), and parts of the audio would be replaced with random audio clips. While not all of them were from Tenacious D songs or skits, most of the remembered audio clips come from this skit; most of which come from the cursing rant. These form of videos were at first known as “Edited Videos”. However sometime in 2008, these videos would be labeled underneath “YTP” or “YouTube Poops”. The YTP Community refers to these types of edits as “Spadinner poops”. The name “Spadinner” comes from the Nintendo-related CDi games from the 1990s, which at the time was one of the most popular and overused sources for a YTP. When videos were being labeled as such, a new used source being used in these videos were these games (usually the cutscenes). The words used in this name are “Spaghetti” (which comes from the opening cutscene of Hotel Mario, when Luigi wishes that the picnic they go to has lots of), and “Dinner” (which comes from the opening cutscene of Zelda: Wand of Gamelon, when while King Harkinian explaining that his ship sails in the morning, a triangle is heard in which he asks what is being served).
