Genius Annotation

“After Hours Edition” is the eighth episode of The Weeknd’s Beats 1 radio show MEMENTO MORI, which first aired on March 20th, 2020 and was the premiere of his fourth studio album After Hours.

The cover of the eighth episode follows the typical Memento Mori motifs with the skull, but is also a reference to the actual album cover of After Hours, which features Abel in a similar state with injuries and blood covering his face and the head back.
