Inside Out Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Bend your chest open so I can reach your heart
I need to get inside, or I'll start a war

Wanna look at the pieces that make you who you are
I wanna build you up and pick you apart

[Chorus]
Let me see the dark sides as well as the bright
I'm gonna love you inside out, I'm gonna love you inside out
Let me see the dark sides as well as the bright
I'm gonna love you inside out, I'm gonna love you inside out

[Post-Chorus]
I'm gonna love you
I'm gonna love you
I'm gonna love you

[Verse 2]
Can I pick your brain and get to know your thoughts?
So I can read your mind when you don't wanna talk
And can I touch your face before you go?
I collect your scales, but you don't have to know

[Outro]
I'm gonna love you inside out (Your love, inside out)
I'm gonna love you inside out, I'm gonna love you inside out
Inside out (Your love, inside out)
I'm gonna love, I'm gonna love you inside out
Out, out
Out, out (I'm gonna love you)
Your love, inside out, out (I'm gonna love you)
Out, out (I'm gonna love you)

How did Charlee become involved in the song?
Genius Answer

So basically we discovered Charlee through our buddy Adrian Lux. We asked him to put us in touch and we really hit it off. She had such an incredible voice and we didnt even know about her song writing yet. We sent her a demo called ‘Halo’ we had done and within a week she had sent us back one of the most dark and emotional toplines we have yet received. Side story… she actually was in NYC and we had finished the song, but unfortunately a few weeks later our computer crashed and we lost everything. (IF YOU ARE READING THIS BACK UP YOUR STUFF NOW). Good news was we were better producers and the new version kicks ass! It’s rare you find a partner like Charlee to work with, someone who is so raw and authentic as an artist. We are working on a bunch of other stuff with her as well – she just inspires us in a way a lot of music doesn’t. For us, that inspiration is super important because it’s very fleeting so it was a real pleasure working with this gal.
