Shakin’ All Over Lyrics

When you move in right up close to me
That's when I get the chills all over me

Quivers down my backbone
I got the shakes in my thigh bone
I got the shivers in my knee bone
Shakin' all over

Just the way you say goodnight to me
Brings the feelin' on inside of me

Quivers down my backbone
I got the shakes in my thigh bone
I got the shivers in my knee bone
Shakin' all over

Quivers down my backbone
I got the shakes in my thigh bone
I got the shivers in my knee bone
Shakin' all over

Well, you make me shake and I like it, baby
You make me shake and I like it, baby
Well, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake

About

Genius Annotation

“Shakin' All Over” was written in 1960 by Frederick Heath (aka Johnny Kidd) and appears on the 1965 Guess Who album of the same name.

This is British Rockabilly with a wonderful groove.

The song was covered with great success by the Guess Who in 1965, then again by The Who in 1970. Pete Townshend said they had to do the cover because, in the early days of The Who, concert fans always confused them with The Guess Who.
