“Your New Boyfriend” is a song from the prespective of Lonely Boy (portrayed by Wilbur Soot), an incel who is infaturated with an e-girl and slowly goes insane to the point of wanting to just smell her hair. It is the last song in a trilogy following this relationship, the first song being “I’m In Love with an E-Girl” and the second being “Internet Ruined Me”.

When I made this song, I had no idea anyone was gonna like it. [laughs] I just needed to come up with a final song for the [e-girl] trilogy, so I was like, “yeah, I’ll write another one”. And I’m so glad I actually spent the time and really worked on it hard because I could’ve just been like, “fuck it, no one cares about this”, because “Internet Ruined Me” wasn’t getting many views.
