Alcohol Lyrics

[Intro: Sam Harris]
Hey

[Verse 1: Sam Harris]
Bartender, pour me some dark liquor
Had a hell of a day and I couldn't hit the bar quicker
It's unhealthy, my friends try to help me
But I'd rather listen to what Jim, Jack, and Jose tell me
Give me that one, and that one and that one too
Forty and fifty, a hundred proof
All the pressures of society givin' me anxiety
Sobriety just won't do

[Chorus: Sam Harris]
So give me all of your alcohol
Tequila and lime, whiskey on ice
And every one of my problems is solved
Give me all your alcohol
A little bourbon and rye 'til the barrel is dry
And I'ma worry 'bout the heartache tomorrow
So give me all, all, all
Your alcohol-ol-ol

[Verse 2: BRELAND, BRELAND & Sam Harris]
Bartender, my broken-heart mender
Don't worry about my tab, I'ma max out the card spender
I'm not cryin', promise I'm not cryin'
I'm allergic to B.S. and I cure it with shot buyin'
For you and for you and for you and you
Forty and fifty, a hundred proof

I needed some variety, hole-in-the-wall psychiatry
Sobriety, it just won't do
[Chorus: Sam Harris & BRELAND, BRELAND]
So give me all of your alcohol
Tequila and lime, whiskey on ice
And every one of my problems is solved
Give me all your alcohol (Oh-oh)
A little bourbon and rye 'til the barrel is dry
And I'ma worry 'bout the heartache tomorrow
So give me all, all, all
Your alcohol-ol-ol

[Bridge: Sam Harris & BRELAND, Sam Harris, BRELAND]
Open wide and say
A-alcohol (Ah-ah)
Hey, open wide and say
A-alcohol (Give me all the alcohol)
Hey, everybody say
A-alcohol (Hee)
Yeah, open wide and say
A-alcohol

[Chorus: Sam Harris, Sam Harris & BRELAND, BRELAND]
So give me all of your alcohol (Is that the right one?)
Tequila and lime, whiskey on ice
And every one of my problems is solved
Give me all your alcohol (Alcohol, hey)
A little bourbon and rye 'til the barrel is dry
And I'ma worry 'bout the heartache tomorrow
So give me all, all, all
(Ah)
Your alcohol-ol-ol
[Outro: Sam Harris]
Give me all, all, all
Your alcohol-ol-ol

BRELAND:

Sometimes when I step into a studio with new people, I don’t know what to expect. Chemistry isn’t always there, and rarely do great songs come out of those sessions. ‘Alcohol’ did. I knew from the minute we started working on it that Dan, Sam, and I were onto something special. It felt like every idea we had during the creative process ended up making the final cut of the song. I’m so proud to have this one out in the world.
