Heroes Lyrics

[Verse 1: Matt Cardle]
I, I will be king
And you, you will be queen

[Chorus: Rebecca Ferguson & Treyc Cohen]
Though nothing will drive them away
We can beat them, just for one day
We can be heroes, just for one day

[Post-Chorus: Rebecca Ferguson & Belle Amie]
We can be heroes
We can be heroes

[Verse 2: Paije Richardson & Katie Waissel]
I, I wish you could swim
Like the dolphins, like dolphins can swim

[Chorus: Harry Styles, Liam Payne & Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson & Zayn Malik, Belle Amie]
Though nothing, nothing will keep us together
Oh, we can be heroes, just for one day

[Post-Chorus: Aiden Grimshaw]
We can be heroes
We can be heroes

[Verse 3: Mary Byrne, John Adeleye, Cher Lloyd & Aiden Grimshaw]
I, I can remember (I remember)
Standing by the wall (By the wall)
And the guns shot above our heads (Over our heads)
We could be heroes just for one day
[Bridge: All, Rebecca Ferguson, Paije Richardson, Treyc Cohen & *Mary Byrne*]
We can be heroes (We can be heroes)
We can be heroes (We can be heroes)
We can be heroes (*We can be heroes*)
We can be heroes
We can be heroes
We can be heroes
We can be heroes

[Outro: Katie Waissel, Cher Lloyd, Liam Payne & Matt Cardle]
Just for one day
We could be heroes
We could be heroes
Just for one day
