Being one of XXXTENTACION’s early works, this freestyle was released on the 24th of June, 2014 by Fat Mike. It is often mistaken to be a remix of Rob $tone’s “Chill Bill” and a diss towards him, which is impossible knowing it was released after X’s version. Quite ironically, XXXTENTACION and Rob $tone later engaged in a beef, leading to X getting sucker punched during a concert by someone believed to be part of Rob’s crew.
The song uses a slightly altered version of the instrumental, sampling a roar from Naruto, hence the name “Katon” which is a fighting technique using fire. A hovering helicopter can also be heard in the very beginning of the song, which is probably taken from videogame Manhunt 2, which is also where the cover art is from. The whistle that can be heard throughout the song is a sampled from Quentin Tarantino’s 2003 movie Kill Bill:
