Demon Party Lyrics

[Intro]
(Turn me up, Dissan)
I got a song to tell right now, um
I was just thinkin' back on, from my, on my side of town
It really like, and it went a little somethin' like this
Steady gettin' high, I can't sleep, ooh, what I
'Cause the demons party all night long
Get it? Hahaha, haha
Yeah ('Cause the demons party all night long)

[Verse 1]
I got the drugs, I ain't takin' no break
How many sticks in this bitch? It's 'bout eight
How many bitches I wanna hit? Eight
Can't see my eyes behind Cartier frames
Bitch, I'm a boss, I ain't throwin' no shade
Bitch, I'm bussed down from my watch to my chain
Made it from a jail cell, came out of poverty
Hard body, concrete, swing with them Ks
Flash out with these whips, make that bitch do a maze
Bitch, I'm a pimp, I got too many rings
I can't remеmber her, too many names
Just likе the watch, I be switchin' the face
I want a yacht, sell that Bentley today
Fuck it, them crackers tryna get me for days
Go tell my label to bigger my budget
My stylist brought me too many damn things
Make another thirty million up inside of an eight-month span
Now my brother runnin' with the nigga sayin' he don't fuck with me, damn
For to hide all these bitches, might as well go and buy more land
I'll hit a nigga ass with the Drac' with his baby in his hands, with his baby in his hands
I'ma die cryin', killed 'bout these millions, don't play with these bands, nigga, don't play with these bands
Buy designer everything, got these hoes by the piece, took 'em off the peak fallin' off
All these scary-ass niggas facin' me, now they tryna see if they come over
[Bridge]
Oh, I
'Cause the demons party all night long
'Cause the demons party all night long
'Cause the demons party all night long

[Verse 2]
Swing with the stick, when they come, bust in their head
Playin' with my name, I'ma put you on obituary
Broke-ass nigga, ol' scary-ass nigga dead
I got the bitch way from Baltimore, coat tailin'
Spray on a nigga, we don't give the boy no leverage
Shot it while she drive, hope the bitch don't go tell it
I was dead broke, "Cut some grass" what my mama tell me

Genius Annotation

In “Demon Party,” the second single leading up to YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s sixth studio album Don’t Try This At Home, YB is seen rapping in an acoustic, melodic flow sharing a similar cadence to his previously released “I Know” and “Fight With My Sheets” as he shares a similar guitar beat.

The evident use of a guitar sample from Rocky, Dissan and Vectro accompanied with the drums assists the build-up of YoungBoy’s melancholy flow in which he raps about his obvious easy-to-procure wealth and notes that he spends it on various items such as cars, jewelry, and designer accessories.

The song’s title “Demon Party” suggests a murderous and wicked convention, however, from the lyrics, it’s blatant that YoungBoy means it in a metaphorical way and that he has demons inside of his head, challenging his “good vs. evil.”

The song was first announced through an Instagram story from the Never Broke Again label page with an image of Edward Scissorhands:

New Top video tonight get ready, we loading up let’s see who really with us

The official Isaac Garcia-directed music video sees YoungBoy take inspiration from Edward Scissorhands — a 1990 romantical fantasy about Edward who is clearly different from others, however, is treated inadequately due to his scissor hands. Edward was seen as a monster by society and was isolated to his home atop a hill, similar to YoungBoy’s situation of being situated at the top of a mountain in Utah due to his current charges. The video sees YB dancing in the snow along to the song while wearing scissor hand gloves — suggesting that despite how much he’s willing to change, he’ll always be seen as his past, aggressive self.
