“Who We Are” sees Steven alongside several supporting gems singing about the now ‘rejuvenated’ Crystal Gems. Steven is crestfallen at the loss of his friends' memories, but he gets a pep talk from Bismuth who sets his focus back on track, back to finding a way to save his friends.

Of note, this is Uzo Aduba’s, who plays Bismuth, first leading role in a song having only sung chorus or backing vocals previously. Given that Bismuth is a blacksmith and all around tough as nails type character, the musical accompaniment supporting her vocals feature heavy, industrial-sounding synths and drum beats.
