Cardi B and Bruno Mars‘ new collaboration, “Please Me,” debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, and they celebrated the accomplishment with the release of the track’s music video. Mars directed the video alongside Florent Dechard, who previously worked on his videos for “Finesse” and “Wake Up in the Sky.”
In the video, Cardi and Bruno meet up in an old-school diner to deliver some sensual dance sequences, reflecting the song’s steamy lyrics:

“Please Me” is Cardi and Bruno’s second Top 5 hit, following the “Finesse” remix, which reached No. 3 on the Hot 100 in January 2018. The two artists were supposed to tour together last year, but Cardi had to drop out due to the birth of her child.
Thus far, there’s been no indication about whether “Please Me” will end up on a project by of the artists, who share top billing on the song. Cardi previously said that she plans to drop an album sometime this year, while Bruno’s plans for new music remain unclear.
