Chief Keef & Lil Uzi Vert’s Collab Is On The Way

The duo already has three or four songs together.

Chief Keef just sat down for an interview with Kerwin Frost, where he teased his upcoming collab with Lil Uzi Vert. It’s unclear when the song–which appears to be titled “Mooliani”–will drop, but fans won’t have to wait long.

“He want me to drop it. He told me to drop it. We gon' drop it soon,” Keef said. “So, we gotta figure it out and make sure everything is right, you know what I’m saying, on both sides.”

Sosa teased the track on Instagram back in April:

One of the verses can be heard in the teaser:

I’m feelin' the drip, I need some drank (Drank)
Where the sizzler (Where the sizzler), I picked it up (I picked it up)
Got a lot of shots like Cdai
Got a lot of cake like my b-day (like my b-day)
Get a lot of weight
Get a lot of hate
Boy, don’t get your face discombobulated
Say she wanna face me, I’m comin' out, baby
That mooliani baby

But that’s not the only song they’ve worked on. “We got like three songs, four songs, not enough. It’s more to make. It ain’t the end of the world,” Keef continued.

Back in July, Uzi featured on the Keef-produced “Cap Flow” alongside Glo Gang’s DooWop.

Uzi and Sosa also linked up on “Rollie,” an unreleased collaboration they performed at the Lil Uzi Vert + Friends holiday concert in Philly last year.

Despite complications with his label, Generation Now, Uzi dropped “Free Uzi” back in March. The Atlantic Records imprint is reportedly not allowing the rapper to release music, and an Atlantic rep referred to the track as a “leak.” But he later dropped two more songs: “That’s a Rack” and “Sanguine Paradise.”

He’s also appeared as a guest artists on a few songs this year, including Young Thug’s “What’s the Move,” Tyler, the Creator’s “IGOR’S THEME,” and Young Nudy and Pi'erre Bourne’s “Extendo.”

However, label head DJ Drama denied holding Uzi’s music hostage. “We’ve cleared 4 NAV records,” he previously told Genius. “And it’s not about the money because we turned down $100K.”

It’s unclear when Uzi’s next album, Eternal Atake, will see the light of day. But Drama claimed the rapper is free to drop it at any time.
