Chloe x Halle Rework Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.” With A Stunning New Cover

The sisters are signed to Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment.

Beyonce’s proteges Chloe x Halle—the teen sibling duo from Atlanta—put their own spin Kendrick Lamar’s latest single “HUMBLE.” in a new cover. The two energetically sing Lamar’s new hit practically a capella, with simple piano chords taking the place of Mike WiLL Made-It’s production. They strip the song down to just a keyboard and vocals, and energetically sing the song’s lyrics.

The duo keep Kendrick’s lyrics intact, although they omit the curse words:

Chloe x Halle have dropped covers of songs like Yo Gotti’s “Down In The DM,” John Legend’s “All Of Me,” and Beyoncé’s “Pretty Hurts,” the last of which earned them a record deal with Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment. They’ve released two EP’s (Sugar Symphony and The Two Of Us), and are currently working on their debut album

“HUMBLE.” is the latest single from Kendrick’s highly anticipated fourth album—it follows “The Heart Part 4,” which was released a week prior but likely won’t make the album. Lamar’s album was expected to drop on April 7, all thanks to a lyric on “The Heart Part 4”, but he released the tracklist and full credits instead. His album drops next Friday, April 14..
