Yung Miami held the duo down in her absence.

City Girls member JT is out of jail after serving most of a two-year sentence for credit card fraud. To celebrate, the Miami duo dropped a Twysted Genius-produced track titled “JT First Day Out.”

JT announced the track earlier today on Instagram. “You Bitches Could Neva 10p est #JTFree @qualitycontrolmusic @citygirls,” she wrote in the caption.

The other half of City Girls, Yung Miami, chimed in on her own Instagram. “YOU BITCHES IN TROUBLE!! MY BITCH HOME!” she added.

In late June 2018, JT began serving her jail sentence—just as the duo was starting to break out with their debut mixtape, Period, and a high-profile appearance on Drake’s No. 1 hit, “In My Feelings.”

While JT was locked up, Yung Miami kept the City Girls' momentum going by promoting their debut album, Girl Code, which spawned Hot 100 hits such as the Cardi B-assisted “Twerk” and “Act Up.”

On a recent episode of Genius' series For The Record, the Quality Control signees' label boss Pierre “Pee” Thomas spoke about the plan created for the group in preparation for JT’s prison sentence.

“We really put the work in with working these records,” he said. “If you going in for two years, but we got eight videos already shot, we got records. And, you got another member to keep your face alive. By the time you come back, three of these records will be on fire and you’ll be coming back home to a situation.”
