He last lent a verse to Anderson .Paak in April 2019.

Dungeon Family mainstays Goodie Mob returned today with the release of the group’s new album, Survival Kit, and the project reunites them with an old friend. André 3000 makes an appearance on “No Cigar,” marking his first new material since he linked up with Anderson .Paak for “Come Home” in April 2019.

On the track, André spits about father figures and hitting on women:

Catch your b-tch on the porch
Walk her back to her car
Pat the p-ssy, slap her tail and tell her ‘See you tomorrow’
Pocket book to match the nails, she never needed a bra
I can tell that bitch was hell, she probably needed a father
For the record me too
What the hell could we do?
Let your older partnas raise you, watch them do what they do

André, of course, has a long history of collaboration with Goodie Mob both as a solo artist and as one half of OutKast. He’s worked with Goodie Mob on songs like “Black Ice (Sky High)” “Soul Food,” “Sole Sunday,” and “Call of da Wild.”

André has only released music sporadically over the past decade, and 2020 has been no exception. Last year saw him link up with Anderson .Paak as well as James Blake (on “Where’s the Catch?”).
