It’s his fourth song overall to reach the Top 10.

Bad Bunny’s latest single, “Yonaguni,” debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, marking the first time the Puerto Rican rapper has earned a Top 10 hit as a solo act without a feature. Billboard reports that the song earned 27.3 million streams and 4,800 downloads in its first week of availability, good enough for a No. 10 debut.

Although Bad Bunny has previously reached the Top 10 with Cardi B’s “I Like It” and his own tracks “MIA” featuring Drake and “DÁKITI” featuring Jhay Cortez, this marks the first time he’s hit the upper echelon of the chart entirely unaccompanied.

“Yonaguni” references a remote Japanese island steeped in mystery. It’s Bad Bunny’s second single of 2021, following “100 MILLION” with Luar La L. The new music arrives after the rapper took a three-month hiatus from recording to pursue his dreams of competing in the WWE.
