Mark your calendars for June 2018.

Drake’s new single “Nice For What” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 today, knocking his smash hit “God’s Plan” down to No. 2, and he celebrated by announcing that his next album Scorpion is set to release in June of this year with a series of Instagram posts:

Not much else is known about the album, although it will presumably feature “Nice For What” and “God’s Plan” as well as his other 2018 single “Diplomatic Immunity.” It also seems likely that its title is inspired by Drake’s Zodiac sign Scorpio. Drake later revealed that Noah “40” Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib will serve as executive producers. He previously hinted at the release window for the next album on “Do Not Disturb,” the final song on his 2017 playlist More Life:

Takin' summer off, ‘cause they tell me I need recovery
Maybe gettin’ back to my regular life will humble me
I’ll be back in 2018 to give you the summary
More Life

Drake is one of just a handful of artist to replace themselves at No. 1, joining the likes of Justin Bieber, The Black Eyed Peas, and Katy Perry. He is also just the fourth artist in history to have three songs in the Top 5 at the same time (his BlocBoy JB collab “Look Alive” currently sits at No. 5), alongside The Beatles, 50 Cent, and Justin Bieber.

“Nice For What” is Drake’s third solo No. 1 hit, following “God’s Plan” and “One Dance” in 2016. He also earned a pair of No. 1s thanks to his features on Rihanna’s “Work” and “What’s My Name?,” and reached No. 2 with his own tracks “Hotline Bling” and “Best I Ever Had.” “Nice For What” has performed strongly on Genius, too, earning over 1.2 million pageviews since its release last week.

Although it’s already a hit, “Nice For What” has a ways to go before it can surpass Drake’s other No. 1s. “God’s Plan” spent 11 weeks at No. 1 this year, while “One Dance” ruled the charts for 10 weeks back in 2016. Still, it’s showing a lot of promise, with over 30 million YouTube views and 51 million Spotify streams since its release:

“Nice For What” samples Lauryn Hill’s 1998 hit “Ex Factor” and is done in the style of New Orleans bounce music. Genius recently spoke to New Orleans rapper 5th Ward Weebie, who worked with Drake on the track and praised the OVO rapper’s authentic homage to bounce. “I have never experienced or heard any artist outside of New Orleans get the bounce element right besides this one,” said Weebie. “This was so dead on.” It’s produced by Corey Litwin, Noah “40” Shebib, BlaqNmilD, and Murda Beatz.
