OVO season is back.

Toronto native Drake was an outsized presence during the 2019 NBA Finals despite not playing for either team. To celebrate his hometown Raptors' championship victory, the OVO rapper dropped a two-track EP titled The Best in the World Pack featuring a pair of new songs, “Omertà” and the Rick Ross-assisted “Money in the Grave.”

Drake announced the “two pack” on Instagram on June 13, 2019, shortly after the Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The cover photo features Drake’s signature over the NBA’s Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy:

The Warriors trolled Drake during the Game 3 warm ups by blasting Pusha T’s 2018 diss track, “The Story of Adidon,” in Oracle Arena. Bay Area radio station KBLX-FM joined the rivalry as well, announcing it wouldn’t play any Drake music until the finals were over.

“Omertà” and “Money in the Grave” are Drake’s first new solo tracks since last year’s Scorpion. In the interim, he appeared on hits like Travis Scott’s chart-topping “SICKO MODE” and Meek Mill’s “Going Bad.” Last week, Drake reunited with Chris Brown on “No Guidance.”

Drake and Ross have a long collaborative history. The two rappers have both appeared on songs such as “Lord Knows,” “Stay Schemin',” “Aston Martin Music,” “I’m On One,” and “Diced Pineapples.”
