Drake and Lil Baby scored a Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart earlier this year with “Yes Indeed,” and today the pair reunited alongside Lil Baby’s frequent collaborator Gunna for “Never Recover.” The track appears on Baby and Gunna’s new joint project Drip Harder. “Never Recover” features production by Turbo (who serves as the Drip Harder executive producer), and Tay Keith, who also worked on Drake’s 2018 hits “SICKO MODE” with Travis Scott, “Look Alive” with BlocBoy JB, and “Nonstop.”
Drake kicks things off, dropping bars about Young Thug and Virgil Abloh:

On the song’s chorus, Lil Baby references Baton Rouge rapper Kevin Gates‘ hit single “I Don’t Get Tired” and his label Breadwinners Association:

And I swear to God, I don’t get tired
Drake recently said that the first thing he plans to do when he gets off tour is get back in the studio with Tay Keith. Now, it seems the artist and producer have been reunited earlier than expected.
