Ella Mai’s 2017 single “Boo’d Up” is already a hit, recently earning Platinum certification and peaking at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Now, she’s looking to give the song one more boost by releasing the official remix featuring Nicki Minaj and Quavo. Over production by DJ Mustard and Larrance Dopson, the two rappers add a pair of verses to the beginning and end of the song. Not only has the remix earned over 24,000 pageviews on Genius since its release yesterday, but the original song reached an all-time peak of 6,833 daily pageviews, too.
On her verse, Nicki takes a bar to shout out her 2010 hit “Super Bass”:

Nicki and Quavo’s remix is just the latest rendition of “Boo’d Up,” following versions by Plies, Fetty Wap, and more. 21 Savage’s manager Kei Henderson hinted that the Atlanta rapper was originally set to appear on the remix but ended up being cut due to “politics”:
