Kanye West confirmed swirling rumors that his next album, DONDA, is dropping this week, sharing the news in a new Beats commercial starring track star Sha'Carri Richardson. The commercial also previews a song titled “No Child Left Behind,” and reveals he will be livestreaming an upcoming album listening event in Atlanta via Apple Music this Thursday at 8 PM ET.
The commercial lists the album’s official release date as this Friday, July 23. It will be his first album as a lead artist since 2019’s Jesus is King, and is named after his mother, who died from surgery complications in 2007.
