The two rappers have been at odds since 2016.

Drake and Kid Cudi’s onetime friendship fell apart in a bitter public fight in 2016, but it seems the two rappers have finally patched things up. They join forces today with the release of “IMY2,” a cut off Drake’s new album, Certified Lover Boy.

The song features production from Y U M E, Dounia Aznou, KanielTheOne, Houssam, Harley Arsenault, Clibbo, and 3DDY, and represents their first true collaboration, although the pair previously both contributed vocals to Kanye West’s “All of the Lights.”

“IMY2” begins with a spoken-word intro from the late Juice WRLD:

I think that’s what life is about
Truly findin' yourself
And then closin' your eyes and dyin' in your sleep

Cudi holds down the chorus, crooning:

Catch me ten-toes in the limelight
F-ck the world up, on my life, right
Sayin' I’m the one, she lie, lie
She checkin' for me, now baby come in my dreams, my dreams

Drake and Cudi were friends in the early days of their careers. Drake made a cameo appearance in Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness” video, and at one point had plans to remix Cudi’s breakout hit, “Day ‘N’ Nite.”

Things fell apart between them in 2016, after Cudi called both Drake and his own mentor Kanye West on Twitter. He was struggling with mental health issues at the time and later checked himself into rehab, but Drake still clapped back on the song “Two Birds, One Stone”:

They had been at odds ever since, especially as things fell apart between Drake and Kanye, but “IMY2” represents a major milestone for both acts. Cudi even declared their beef over on Twitter:
