Halsey keeps the features on her new album, Manic, largely confined to its interludes, but the project is punctuated by a few more voices. She uses two film samples on the album, borrowing dialogue from 2004’s Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind on album-opener “Ashley” and 2009’s Jennifer’s Body on “killing boys.”
