The Australian rapper joked that it was filmed inside Paris Hilton’s dog house.

Iggy Azalea is back with “Started,” her second single since becoming an independent artist. The track features production by frequent Cardi B collaborator J. White Did It and is accompanied by a music video which Iggy joked was filmed inside Paris Hilton’s dog house. In the clip, which co-stars drag queen and comedian Trixie Mattel, the Australian rapper feeds her sugar daddy a poisoned cake.

On the track’s chorus, Iggy celebrates her come-up:

I started from the bottom and now I’m rich
I got in my bag and I ain’t looked back since
I started to say sorry, but fuck that shit
You started out hatin', now you love my drip

Later on, she raps about not needing a man:

He be blowin' me up like a fuckin' balloon
I just tell him give me space like the man on the moon

Elsewhere on the track, she references Eminem:

I’m just tryna get them Ms and I ain’t talkin' Slim Shady
Bitch don’t look at me crazy or you’ll be pushin' up daisies

As Genius contributor unreliablecynic points out, Eminem has name-dropped Iggy on several of his songs. On 2014’s “Vegas,” Em raps:

So what’s it gon' be? Put that shit away, Iggy
You gon' blow that rape whistle or me?

More recently, Em mentioned Iggy on his Kamikaze track, “The Ringer,” and his Machine Gun Kelly diss song, “Killshot.” Iggy responded to the latter track in a since-deleted tweet. “Diss songs shouldn’t be filled with celebrity name drops to pad out lazy bars,” she wrote.

In March, Iggy released “Sally Walker” as the lead single from her upcoming album, In My Defense. The project will be distributed by Empire, with whom Iggy signed a reported $3.5 million distribution deal.
