On “Free Lunch,” Isaiah Rashad reflects on the life back home in Chattanooga, TN, recalling old friends, hometown landmarks and public-school daze.
“I had free lunch at school… a real meal ticket,” the 25-year-old TDE spitter tells Genius. “This is a shout out to my crib really. My nigga told me he got on that Coca-Cola that day, 21 dollars an hour. That’s tight. I was reminiscing about what I would have did around everything. ‘Cause my friends ain’t rappin’ but they still found a way to be alright.”
