“ATM,” ”Kevin’s Heart,” & “KOD” landed in the Top 10 this week.

J. Cole’s KOD victory lap continues. After earning the largest sales week of 2018 with nearly 400,000 equivalent album units, Cole got more good news by becoming the first artist in history to debut three songs in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “ATM” leads the pack at No. 6, with “Kevin’s Heart” at No. 8 and “KOD” at No. 10.

This trio of tracks represent Cole’s second, third, and fourth Hot 100 Top 10s, following 4 Your Eyez Only’s “Déjà Vu” in 2016. No artist has debuted three songs in the Top 10 before, and only Drake and Ed Sheeran have done it with two songs. Both of those artists saw their tracks experience long-lasting success, although it remains to be seen if Cole’s songs can remain in the Top 10. Post Malone’s sophomore album beerbongs & bentleys is expected to debut with massive streaming numbers and may land many songs onto the Hot 100 chart next week.

KOD is Cole’s fifth album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and managed to push all 12 of its tracks onto the Hot 100 in various positions. This feat also helped him become the first artist to debut 12 tracks on the Hot 100 two separate times. Back in 2016, he did the same with the 10-track 4 Your Eyez Only along with two non-album tracks.
