Singer-songwriter Jon Bellion’s new album, Glory Sound Prep, has arrived, and the project’s single, “Adult Swim,” offers some insight into Bellion’s work with other artists. He co-wrote and co-produced “Fall in Line,” Christina Aguilera’s collaboration with Demi Lovato, earlier this year, but “Adult Swim” reveals that Beyoncé was also gunning for the song.

Although Aguilera and Lovato’s version of the song didn’t chart, it did earn over 30 million YouTube views and nearly as many on Spotify:
Aguilera dedicated the song to “anyone who’s ever felt silenced and repressed,” and both artists sing about not being afraid to use their voices:

The subject matter would fit will with Chloe x Halle, too. The Parkwood-signed sisters have addressed similar topics on songs like “The Kids Are Alright” and “Hi Lo.”
