James Blake Debuts An Unreleased Collaboration With André 3000

Is a new James Blake album on the horizon?

In May 2018, André 3000 surprised fans with a two-track release titled Look Ma No Hands, including a James Blake collaboration of the same title. It appears that song wasn’t the only thing they worked on together, as Blake previewed an unreleased collaboration during a recent show in New York City.

Unlike the instrumental “Look Ma No Hands,” the two artists' new song features a rap verse from André and vocals from Blake. It’s tough to make out too many of André’s lyrics in the video, but the OutKast rapper delivers a lengthy verse of more than 16 bars.

James Blake hasn’t released an album since 2016’s The Colour in Anything, but with a new tour on the horizon in nearly 2019 fans have been speculating that his next project could be on the way soon. André has been quiet this year outside his solo EP, although he did co-produced “Fire” off Kanye West and Kid Cudi’s KIDS SEE GHOSTS album.
