Juice WRLD Says He & Young Thug Have 10 Songs Completed For A Joint Project

“It’s going to happen. Just whenever we put it out.”

Juice WRLD is just a few months out from his new album, Death Race For Love, but it looks like he has more releases planned. In a new interview with GQ, the Chicago rapper revealed that he already has ten songs recorded for an upcoming joint project with Young Thug.

“This is a song I made with Thug,” he told GQ’s Cam Wolf. “It’s going to happen,” he said about the collaborative project. “Just whenever we put it out, I don’t know.” Wolf also revealed a few of Juice’s lyrics, which reference the 2016 viral mannequin challenge:

Off of the perc and the Xan again, yeah
Walk in the store like a mannequin, yeah
Double G on me like mannequin, yeah
Make me feel like the mannequin challenge again

Juice WRLD already teamed up with a high-profile rapper for a collaboration. In 2018, he dropped WRLD On Drugs with Future. Coincidentally, Young Thug has also dropped a joint project with Future: 2017’s Super Slimey.

It’s worth noting, however, that several joint projects involving Young Thug have failed to materialize over the years. MetroThuggin, a long-promised joint album between Thugger and Metro Boomin, has been shelved without explanation, and Thug once claimed he was working on releases with Fetty Wap, Post Malone, and Migos that never came together.
